Take the PaddleCross Challenge!

The 2020 Willamette River Festival is holding its fourth annual PaddleCross Challenge from July 22 – August 22 as an independent virtually recorded experience! Register today for the 2020 Willamette River Festival PaddleCross Challenge and get ready to rumble down your favorite rapids from Springfield to Eugene in Alton Baker Park, and YOUTH RACE FREE with a registered parent!

Race it, or paddle it just for fun… register to compete against other participants, or just join in the challenge and paddle to finish it! Once registered, participants can complete the route as many times as they want to improve their timing, or earn a chance to win something from the Willamette River Festival Finishers Prize Cache, featuring a variety merchandise from Willamette Valley local businesses and national paddlesports brands. The first 50 finishers will receive a special PaddleCross Challenge patch! Everyone who has officially registered and completes the route will receive a special digital finisher’s recognition.  Final 1st-3rd place race finishers will be announced online August 22, 2020.

Already registered and would like to submit your time and route? Please click HERE. (Remember, you must be registered in order for your submission to be counted!) You can submit as many times as you can complete the route during the month until August 22, 12PM. We’ll be updating a leaderboard each week – check back to see where you stand among those who are racing! Also, for every submission, you will recieve another chance to win a prize from the Willamette River Festival Prize Cache – supported by national paddlesports industry brands and local businesses alike!
